Ongoing shortages, travel restrictions and impending lockdowns makes it easy to see that hosting a physical IIRC in 2021 would not be feasible or wise, so we will remain in the virtual world for now with V-IIRC 2021 – the Virtual Irish Indoor Rowing Championships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Getting registered couldn’t be easier (REGISTER<\/a>) and the IT skills required are minimal – just follow the steps provided on www.rowfit.ie\/VIRC<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n We are still committed to running the V-IIRC as the timely and exciting event you have come to know. We worked out the \u2018how to\u2019 via the ROWfit Indoor Rowing Race Series in Oct\/Nov 2020. So, time to grab an erg and bucket. The V-IIRC will be viewable LIVE online<\/a> with commentary (and a delay) on You Tube to both competitors and spectators alike and on Time-Team’s tracker web page application (instantaneous<\/em> but without commentary)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Virtual racing might be the ultimate in social distancing, but our experienced commentators and MC’s will hopefully bring the races to life for all our viewing pleasure.
