The COVID-19 working group have made the below recommendations in line with government guidelines..&nbsp;Northern Ireland restrictions remain the same. &nbsp;The Working Group will continue to monitor the ongoing guidelines from the relevant bodies and will make changes to these recommendations as required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>These guidelines are in line with the Government guidelines, Resilience and Recovery 2020-2021: Plan for living with COVID \u2013 19 documents,<\/strong>&nbsp;(Reference; Gov.ie https:\/\/www.gov.ie\/en\/publication\/2dc71-level-5\/)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Exercise and sporting events<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No training should take place, with the following exceptions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>non-contact training can continue for school-aged children, outdoors in pods of 15<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All other training activities should be individual only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No exercise classes are permitted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Regattas, Head of the River and events<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No events to take place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Gyms<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gyms are closed<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Organised outdoor gatherings<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Gov. Definition), These are controlled environments with a named event organiser, owner or manager. For example outdoor Arts events, training events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No organised outdoor gatherings should take place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Organised indoor gatherings<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Gov. Definition), These are controlled environments with a named event organiser, owner or manager. For example: business, training events, conferences, events in theatres and cinemas or other arts events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No organised indoor gatherings should take place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Domestic travel restrictions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Stay at home<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Exceptions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>to take school aged children to permitted training as provided for in the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.ie\/en\/publication\/2dc71-level-5\/#exercise-and-sporting-events\">Exercise and Sporting section above<\/a>, Coaches for these groups are also permitted to travel.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Exercise within 5 kilometres of home.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr Tony Holohan, Chief Medical Officer of Ireland, stated \u201cIt isn\u2019t a set of&nbsp;<em>rules<\/em>&nbsp;to be gotten around, people need to comply, not only with what it says but the&nbsp;<em>spirit<\/em>&nbsp;of what it says\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rowingireland.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Covid-pathway-Poster-final-2110.pdf\">Covid pathway Poster final 2110<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With the announcement this week by the Republic of Ireland government that the country will move into level 5, at midnight on Wednesday 21st&nbsp;October 2020.
