McCarthy produced a composed and consistent performance, maintaining third position throughout the race and finishing with a powerful sprint to close the gap to second place. He crossed the line with a time of 06:59.07, securing his first-ever Senior World Championship medal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n LW1x | Siobh\u00e1n McCrohan<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n Siobh\u00e1n McCrohan finished fourth in the A Final of the Lightweight Women\u2019s Single Sculls. Siobh\u00e1n was in fifth position behind Austria until the third quarter of the race but moved into fourth by the 1500m mark.
