The morning session saw excellent racing conditions, but the wind picked up in the afternoon. Rowing Ireland had a strong day on the water: the Men\u2019s Double of Fintan McCarthy and Philip Doyle and the Women\u2019s Single of Fiona Murtagh qualified for their semi-finals, while Konan Pazzaia in the Men\u2019s Single advanced to the quarterfinals. The Women\u2019s Double and Women\u2019s Four will both contest B finals later in the week.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>W2x | Mags Cremen &amp; Zoe Hyde<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zoe Hyde and Mags Cremen finished fourth in their heat of the Women\u2019s Double. They remained in contention with the Individual Neutral Athletes, who finished third, while China claimed the win on home water. Their time of 07:02.25 secures them a place in the B Final.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>B Final: 26<sup>th<\/sup> September \u2013 6:29am IST (Lane 2)&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>M2x | Fintan McCarthy &amp; Philip Doyle<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Philip Doyle and Fintan McCarthy delivered a commanding performance to win their heat of the Men\u2019s Double. Leading from the start, they crossed the line first in a time of 06:20.67 to qualify for Wednesday\u2019s semi-final.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Semi-Final: 24<sup>th<\/sup> September \u2013 4:11am IST (Lane 3)&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>W4- | Natalie Long, Emma Waters, Imogen Magner &amp; Aisling Hayes<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ireland\u2019s Women\u2019s Four finished fourth in their heat after pushing the Netherlands and Australia all the way. They clocked 06:35.57 and progress to the B Final later in the week.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>B Final: 26<sup>th<\/sup> September \u2013 6:45am IST&nbsp;(Lane TBC)&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>W1x | Fiona Murtagh<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fiona Murtagh claimed victory in her heat of the Women\u2019s Single. After an early battle with Spain, she surged into the lead at the 1000-metre mark and maintained control to the finish line. She now moves into the semi-final.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Semi-Final: 26<sup>th<\/sup> September \u2013 5:42am IST (Lane 3)&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>M1x | Konan Pazzaia<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Konan Pazzaia produced a strong sprint to take second place in his Men\u2019s Single heat.
