A huge well done to the athletes, coaches, and support staff for this excellent achievement on the world stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aoife Hendy (Skibbereen RC) and Sophia Young (Methodist College Belfast RC) delivered a commanding performance to win their heat, clocking a time of 7:26.88. They will race in the Junior Women\u2019s Double Sculls Semifinal 2 on <strong>Friday, 8 August at 09:34 IST<\/strong>, Lane 3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jack Rafferty (St Michael\u2019s RC) and Jonah Kirby (Kenmare RC) also took 1st place in their heat, finishing in a time of 6:37.15. They advance to the Junior Men\u2019s Double Sculls Semifinal 2, scheduled for <strong>Friday, 8 August at 09:46 IST, Lane 3.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A superb row from Sarah Rockett (Athlone BC), Isabella Wright (Enniskillen Royal BC), Cl\u00f3da Phillips (St. Michael\u2019s RC), and Anna O\u2019Grady (Athlone BC) secured their place in the next round. The crew will line up in Under 19 Women\u2019s Four Semifinal 1 on <strong>Saturday, 9 August at 12:01 IST<\/strong>, Lane 5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Daniel Crozier (Methodist College RC), Tommy Little (Neptune RC), Richard Heaslip (Athlone BC), and Paul Schofield (Col\u00e1iste Iogn\u00e1id RC) put in a strong effort to finish third in their heat and secure a semi-final place. They race in Under 19 Men\u2019s Four Semifinal 2 on <strong>Saturday, 9 August at 12:28<\/strong> IST, Lane 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Harry McCartney (Methodist College RC), Bill Murphy (Cappoquin RC), Mattias Cogan (Skibbereen RC), and Evan O\u2019Byrne (St Michael\u2019s RC) produced a solid performance to finish third in Heat 4 of the Men\u2019s Quadruple Sculls. They\u2019ll compete in Under 19 Men\u2019s Quadruple Sculls Semifinal 1 on <strong>Saturday, 9 August at 12:55 IST<\/strong>, Lane 6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a fantastic achievement by all involved and a testament to the depth of talent coming through the junior pathway.
