The Men’s Double Sculls secured a place in the A Final, while the Women’s Double Sculls and Men’s Four progressed to the B Finals. These results add to the two A Finals and one C Final already secured by Irish crews earlier in the week.

BW2x | Izzy Clements & Anna Keating

The Irish Women’s Double Sculls were unable to secure a place in the A Final following a challenging semi-final. They reached the 500 metre mark in sixth place but by the halfway point had drawn level with Brazil and were applying real pressure. By 1000 metres, they had moved into fifth and continued to push, closing the gap to fourth-place Lithuania to just one length.
