Rowing Ireland is calling on rowing supporters to volunteer for two of the most exciting events in the rowing calendar:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The 1K Classic at Lough Rinn – 28th\u201329th June.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Irish Rowing Championships at the National Rowing Centre – 11th\u201313th July<\/strong>, with volunteer support needed from 9th July onward<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n These are flagship events in Irish rowing, and they wouldn\u2019t be possible without the commitment and enthusiasm of our volunteers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We’re looking for individuals aged 18 and over. While previous rowing experience is a plus, it’s not essential. Skills such as launch driving, timing, or marshalling are highly valued but not required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n What you get in return:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n A daily allowance (contact us via email for details).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Breakfast and lunch provided each day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Accommodation for those traveling from outside Cork (for the Championships) or outside Leitrim (for the 1K Classic).<\/p>\n\n\n\n An official Rowing Ireland T-shirt as a thank-you for being part of the volunteer team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
