The next stop for the Waterway’s Ireland ‘Row for it League’ is Athlone Regatta, this Saturday, 14th June. With the unfortunate cancellation of Carlow Regatta, competition is tighter than ever as we approach the second-last event of the league.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The final <\/strong>regatta will take place at Carrick-on-Shannon Regatta, where double points will be on offer making every race in Athlone all the more important.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Clubs will be able to gain points in the men’s and women’s J13 4x+, J14 4x+, and J15 4x+ at Athlone Regatta. With high entry numbers we are promised competitive racing across all events. Winners of each race will earn 10 points in the league, with 8 points awarded for second place and 6 points for third.
