This can affect anyone (male and female), of any age, and at any level, and can have a negative impact on both sports performance and health (now and in the future).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In response to these findings, we have invited Dr. Sharon Madigan to host a webinar on energy availability. Sharon works with the Sport Ireland Institute and has a wealth of experience working with athletes of all levels, including our own High-Performance rowers. Having worked with athletes who have low energy availability, she is very aware of the  warning signs and the effects it can have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This webinar is free and open to all of our members, whether you are a competitive athlete, recreational rower, volunteer, coach or parent. It will take place over Zoom on Wednesday 2nd February at 7pm.
