The Series will host a Zoom call every second Wednesday from Jan &#8211; April. Each session will focus on a different topic and allow time for discussion between coaches on their own experience of the topic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td>12th Jan<\/td><td>Mental Health in Sport&nbsp;<\/td><td>Conversation with Elaine Cahill &#8211; Master Graduate of Mental Skills and Mental Health in Sports and Exercise<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>9th Feb<\/td><td>Coach-Athlete Relationship&nbsp;<\/td><td>Conversation with Olympic Medalists Aifric Keogh and Eimear Lambe<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>9th Mar<\/td><td>Where are we now, where are we going?&nbsp;<\/td><td>Review of Sport Ireland, Women in Coaching Research as part of WiS Week<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>13th Apr<\/td><td>Coach\u2019s Choice<\/td><td>Topic TBC following feedback from the Network.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>All sessions start at 7.30 pm.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This series provides an opportunity to meet other coaches, reflect on your own practice and engage in topics to support coach development.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sport Ireland Women in Coaching Research found that access to a network was an important development tool for female coaches. Of 2000+ female coaches surveyed:&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>86% of active female coaches who did not have a coaching network would like to join one<\/li><li>58% of female coaches would like to observe other coaches in their sport<\/li><li>Female coaches felt not being part of a coaching network hampered their opportunities for advancement.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You can register for the network series <a href=\"https:\/\/us02web.zoom.us\/meeting\/register\/tZArduGtpjMsHtZFtHNkY8Liw-qp8x0Kl-ZN\">here<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Rowing Ireland Women in Sport Programme is launching a Women in Coaching Networking Series.
