Fintan and Paul then went on to win gold at the 2024 Paris Olympics LM2x, being the first Irish duo to win back to back gold medals at the Olympics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2023, Fintan won gold in the Lightweight Men&#8217;s Double Scull at the World Rowing Championships and European Championships alongside Paul O&#8217;Donovan<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2020, Fintan won the bronze medal in the Lightweight Men&#8217;s Single Scull at the European Rowing Championships in Poznan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2021, Fintan won a gold medal alongside Paul O&#8217;Donovan in the Lightweight Men&#8217;s Double Sculls A Final at the Rowing World Cup II in Lucerne, Switzerland<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fintan&#8217;s highlights in rowing include winning his first national title in 2016; making the European Championship final in 2019 with his brother Jake; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fintan is from Skibbereen, County Cork, and started rowing in 2012.
